Grooming wellness checkup Part 1.

Face

On the face, there are a few things to look out for. We need to make sure we can see our doodle and they can see us, too along with finding mats while tiny on the muzzle, for example, avoiding the dreaded poodle face, like a boss.

Keep an eye out for:

* Hair in front of the eyes (corner of the eyes and bangs)
* Eye boogers (any? soft? dry?)
* Hair by the lips (curling inwards, getting matted, etc.)
* Ear hair amount (can you see the skin in the ear?)
* Injury (scabs, infections, bites, etc.)
* Mats (see +1 for more info)

Doodles are much happier when they can see screen doors and other doodle's reactions. Let alone falling treats and flying balls!

Eye boogers
